Poggio del Sole Resort is located on a stretch of road leading from Ragusa to the sea. The resort raises proud on the charming plateau of Iblei mounts rich in caves, hills, carobs, olive tree groves on an area crowded with dry built walls. Enjoying a barycentric position among the main sites of Noto valley, this structure is on the one hand close to the baroque Ragusa on the other hand it is far enough from the chaos of the city to live freely the nature of this ancient land.

Exterior

Dating back to 1879 when it would be a country house "Poggio del Sole Resort" was wisely restored and widened on the own initiative of its owners in 2006. This ancient structure features now three suites, the exclusive restaurant "Dell'Angelo", the conference centre "Degli Archi" and a Lounge Bar. The new-built Hosteria has a more informal style with its stone oven and rooms.

The renowned restaurant "Dell'Angelo", a refined ambiance derived from the ancient stables of the manor farm, will guide you along a Mediterranean route of flavours, provided by the typical products of this land and delicacies from the sea. Core of taste and smells is also its well stocked cellar. The Hosteria, boasting wonderful views over the plateau, offers specialities from local and Italian cuisines based on meat and fish, which are grilled or baked in the typical oven, exalting their superlative flavour.

"Maizé" lounge bar: a pleasant ethnic frame, which is the ideal for relaxing evenings under the banner of live-music, delicacies, wine typical tasting and special drinks prepared by our trained barmen.
